Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current, active RN license
• At least 2 years of experience as a CVOR Registered Nurse
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced surgical settings
• Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
• Familiarity with the latest CVOR nursing protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment in the CVOR
• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor patient safety and status throughout procedures
• Accurately document intraoperative and postoperative patient care
• Provide patient and family education as appropriate
• Support perioperative care and facilitate transitions between pre-op and post-op teams
