CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN) in Summerville, SC

Step into a critical role supporting cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) teams by providing expert nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Proven experience in a CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) setting
• Up-to-date certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing complex clinical situations
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure surgical environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to cardiovascular surgery patients before, during, and after operations
• Scrub and circulate within the CVOR, maintaining sterility and supporting the surgical team as needed
• Monitor patient status, vital signs, and respond rapidly to changes throughout procedures
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately in medical records
• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and post-operative care requirements
• Participate in ongoing quality assurance and safety initiatives

$2,372 - $2,509/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
