Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ recent experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong understanding of cardiac surgical procedures, instruments, and safety protocols
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to remain focused, calm, and precise during high-pressure situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub for cardiovascular surgical cases alongside an interdisciplinary surgical team
• Monitor and assess patient status before, during, and after procedures, providing timely interventions
• Ensure all surgical instruments and environments meet strict sterilization standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to optimize patient outcomes
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and in compliance with facility policies
• Provide post-operative care instructions and education to patients and families as needed
