Travel Registered Nurse CVOR | Venice, Florida

Advance your career in a high-acuity setting, working alongside cardiac teams in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). This contract opportunity is ideal for passionate Registered Nurses skilled in scrubbing, circulating, and providing exceptional cardiac surgical care.

Schedule and Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts: 7:00am – 5:30pm
• 13-week assignment
• 40+ hours per week, plus on-call responsibilities
• Every other weekend and two nights on-call per week
• No floating required

Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Demonstrated CVOR experience, with proficiency in both scrub and circulate roles
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Previous involvement in high-acuity cardiac cases preferred
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing patient needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert perioperative nursing care to cardiovascular surgical patients
• Assist with surgical procedures as a scrub and/or circulating nurse, maintaining strict aseptic technique
• Monitor patient status, anticipate surgical team needs, and respond quickly in urgent situations
• Ensure all documentation, safety checks, and regulatory requirements are met or exceeded
• Actively collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and fellow OR staff to ensure optimal outcomes
• Participate in on-call rotation, promptly responding to emergent cardiovascular cases
