Required Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• At least 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience
• Advanced knowledge in cardiovascular surgical procedures and perioperative nursing care
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and adaptability
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during cardiovascular operations, with a strong focus on patient safety and proper sterile techniques
• Coordinate and monitor patient care throughout all CVOR phases—pre-op, intra-op, and post-op
• Administer medications and treatments with accuracy
• Advocate for best practices in infection control and patient advocacy
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation
