Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license, eligible to practice in North Carolina
• Recent experience as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and cardiac operating room equipment
• Ability to collaborate efficiently within multidisciplinary surgical teams
• Effective communication and critical-thinking skills
• BLS and ACLS certification required

Responsibilities:

• Provide proficient and compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries
• Directly assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during operative procedures
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment within the operating suite
• Monitor patient status, respond promptly to clinical changes, and update surgical teams as needed
• Implement all safety and infection control protocols in accordance with hospital policies
