This 13-week travel assignment will broaden your skill set as you contribute to a collaborative surgical unit, gaining valuable exposure to advanced technologies—such as EPIC and Omnicell—and evidence-based practices in cardiovascular care. As you partner with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll acquire new perspectives and techniques that will enrich your nursing resume and open doors for future opportunities.

Schedule & Location Details:

• Two 10-hour shifts per week
• On-call: Up to 7 days per four-week period, including at least one full weekend
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of CVOR RN experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's degree or higher)
• Active New York State RN license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Comfort with adult patient populations and 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratios
• Familiarity with EPIC and Omnicell systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to adult cardiovascular surgical patients
• Support the surgical team throughout perioperative procedures
• Respond efficiently during on-call shifts and adapt to varying surgical case loads
• Float to other units as needed according to census
