Working in this CVOR role, you’ll benefit from exposure to high-acuity cardiovascular cases and a variety of surgical procedures, such as open heart, TAVR, open/endovascular, and thoracic surgeries. Collaborate with experienced nursing leaders and skilled surgeons, broadening your professional perspective and expanding your clinical expertise. Schedule & Hours:

  • Shifts: 06:30–17:00 (negotiable)
  • One weekday call per week
  • One weekend call per month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, on rotation)
  • No mandatory holiday call, but preferred if available

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Current BLS required; ACLS preferred
  • CVOR experience, including open heart and/or endovascular procedures
  • Scrubbing required (RNs only, including support to hold the heart and assist in chest closure)
  • Experience with Epic EMR
  • Willingness to occasionally float to General OR or other units as needed
  • Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes (call room provided)

  • Provide support during open and endovascular procedures
  • Collaborate with surgeons, techs, and fellow nurses to ensure optimal patient care
  • Maintain high standards of safety, communication, and documentation
