Working in this CVOR role, you’ll benefit from exposure to high-acuity cardiovascular cases and a variety of surgical procedures, such as open heart, TAVR, open/endovascular, and thoracic surgeries. Collaborate with experienced nursing leaders and skilled surgeons, broadening your professional perspective and expanding your clinical expertise. Schedule & Hours:
- Shifts: 06:30–17:00 (negotiable)
- One weekday call per week
- One weekend call per month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, on rotation)
- No mandatory holiday call, but preferred if available
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Current BLS required; ACLS preferred
- CVOR experience, including open heart and/or endovascular procedures
- Scrubbing required (RNs only, including support to hold the heart and assist in chest closure)
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Willingness to occasionally float to General OR or other units as needed
- Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes (call room provided)

- Assist with a diverse range of cardiovascular and thoracic cases
- Provide support during open and endovascular procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, techs, and fellow nurses to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain high standards of safety, communication, and documentation
