Provide specialized nursing care as an RN in dialysis with opportunities to float to other units and hospitals, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment. This contract role located in Mc Calla, AL, accommodates flexible shifts of 36 or 48 hours per week, including holiday coverage and every other weekend schedule to support work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dialysis treatments, including bedside and peritoneal dialysis, for patients across multiple campuses.
  • Collaborate with Certified Dialysis Technicians and healthcare teams to deliver safe, quality patient care.
  • Float between the Regional and Northport campuses to support various unit needs.
  • Adhere to clinical protocols and standards while providing patient education and support.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, covering evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
  • Active Registered Nurse license in Alabama or compact state (temporary licenses not accepted).
  • Minimum two years of RN experience, including at least one year in dialysis nursing.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA or Red Cross.
  • Professional nursing certification in dialysis is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
