As a Staff Registered Nurse specializing in Dialysis, you'll oversee and deliver chronic in-center dialysis care while supporting multiple clinics across the scenic peninsula, including Poulsbo, Bremerton, Port Orchard, and Port Townsend. This travel opportunity is ideal for nurses eager to broaden their clinical knowledge, enhance their leadership skills, and make a tangible impact in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Schedule/Hours:
- Availability required Monday through Saturday
- Flexible AM or PM shifts based on staffing needs
- Rotational coverage at multiple peninsula clinics
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license through WA State Board of Nursing or Multi-State Compact
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- At least 1 year of nursing experience
- Prior dialysis experience is required
- Additional experience in acute or ambulatory care settings preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee delivery of dialysis treatment and ongoing patient care
- Provide patient education and adjust treatment plans according to standing orders and care plans
- Supervise dialysis technicians, ensuring adherence to best practices
- Monitor patient outcomes, administer medications, and document progress
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, including social workers, dietitians, and nephrologists
