This position empowers you to boost your resume with hands-on experience in in-center chronic dialysis care. You’ll encounter a range of patient populations and evolving workplace practices, granting valuable exposure to different leadership styles and innovative care approaches.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Must have availability for any shift (AM/PM) from Monday through Saturday, including coverage across peninsula locations (Poulsbo, Bremerton, Port Orchard, and Port Townsend)

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of dialysis treatments and comprehensive patient care
  • Supervise and mentor Dialysis Technicians
  • Adjust treatment plans based on standing orders and individualized care plans
  • Monitor patient outcomes and administer prescribed medications
  • Educate patients on dialysis processes and self-care
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (social workers, dietitians, nephrologists)
  • Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in WA State or Compact Nursing License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
  • At least 1 year of dialysis nursing experience required
  • Prior acute or ambulatory nursing background preferred
  • Willingness to travel between multiple clinic locations
