Embark on an assignment as a Registered Nurse supporting an interventional gastroenterology team delivering advanced care in endoscopy and GI procedures. This role focuses on complex pancreatobiliary and digestive health needs, including support for patients with pancreatic conditions, swallowing concerns, stent management, liver issues, and reflux. You'll work in a progressive environment dedicated to innovative patient care within a collaborative clinical team.
Schedule:
- 5 consecutive 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
- No on-call requirements
- No weekend shifts
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited or state board-approved program in Registered/Professional Nursing
- Active Colorado RN license in good standing
- Minimum of two years’ recent experience as a GI/Endoscopy RN
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (must present valid card before start date)
- Previous experience in an RN Clinic or Ambulatory Care setting
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Assist with a wide range of GI procedures and treatments, focusing on patient safety and positive outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate and deliver high-quality care
- Monitor patients pre- and post-procedure, ensuring comfort and understanding of their treatment plans
- Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with regulatory and hospital standards
- Support patient education and provide compassionate clinical guidance
