Contribute your expertise in gastroenterology as a valued RN supporting advanced patient care in the Endoscopy/GI Lab. This contract opportunity involves working with a skilled interventional team aiding patients with complex digestive, pancreas, liver, and swallowing issues. The clinic is focused on delivering specialized care to the community, and we're seeking experienced Traveler GI RNs passionate about making a difference in this vital field.

Schedule:

  • 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday
  • No on-call requirements
  • No weekends

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited or state board-approved nursing program (Registered Nurse)
  • Current, active Colorado RN license in good standing
  • Minimum two years of direct GI nursing experience
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association (must have card before starting)
  • Previous experience in a clinic or ambulatory care RN role
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic and GI procedures
  • Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes during procedures
  • Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists, providers, and the interventional team
  • Support pre- and post-procedure care and patient education
  • Document patient information and care accurately using electronic health records
  • Participate in quality and safety initiatives within the GI clinic
