Registered Nurse - Endoscopy - Waverly, NY

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Endoscopy or GI Lab nursing, seeking a contract position that delivers meaningful patient care while maintaining high professional standards. Key Qualifications:

• Current NYS nursing license or eligibility (limited permit accepted)
• Prior experience as an RN in Endoscopy, GI Lab, or related specialty strongly preferred
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving patients of varying abilities
• Commitment to excellence, professionalism, and continuous learning
• Understanding of legal and ethical responsibilities in nursing care

Role Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and document thorough patient assessments in an ongoing and systematic manner
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for assigned patients
• Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary health care team members
• Respond to medical emergencies, following established protocols and documenting events
• Provide accurate, timely documentation in patient records according to policy
• Demonstrate sound knowledge base and apply best practices within Endoscopy and GI Lab settings
• Actively participate in ongoing departmental education and training

• Manage priorities based on patient needs and available resources
