- Up to $2,400/week
- Shift: Day Shift
- Schedule: 4x10s
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Call Requirement: Weekend call rotation
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Travel RN – EP Lab for a hospital assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. This opportunity is ideal for an RN with Electrophysiology Lab experience who is detail-oriented, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced procedural environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the EP Lab.
- Assist with electrophysiology procedures including ablations, device implants, Watchman procedures, and loop recorders.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and the EP team.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR.
- Ensure patient safety and follow procedural protocols.
Unit Details
- Department: EP Lab
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Staffing: 17 team members
- Rooms: 3 EP Lab rooms
- Equipment: X-ray, PACS, Cardio Lab, i-STAT, ESI, CARTO, Arrhythmia, Cryo
- EMR: Cerner
Requirements
- Active RN license
- EP Lab experience required
- ACLS and BLS required
- RCES or RCIS preferred
- ARRT(R) preferred
- Strong procedural nursing experience preferred

- Loop recorders
Schedule & Call
- Day shifts: 4x10s (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) with possible late stays
- Weekend call: 2 days every 6 weeks (Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM)
