Assignment Details

• 13-week travel contract
• Up to $2,400/week
• Shift: Day Shift
• Schedule: 4x10s
• Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Call Requirement: Weekend call rotation

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel RN – EP Lab for a hospital assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. This opportunity is ideal for an RN with Electrophysiology Lab experience who is detail-oriented, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the EP Lab.
• Assist with electrophysiology procedures including ablations, device implants, Watchman procedures, and loop recorders.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and the EP team.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR.
• Ensure patient safety and follow procedural protocols.

• Department: EP Lab
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Staffing: 17 team members
• Rooms: 3 EP Lab rooms
• Equipment: X-ray, PACS, Cardio Lab, i-STAT, ESI, CARTO, Arrhythmia, Cryo
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Active RN license
• EP Lab experience required
• ACLS and BLS required
• RCES or RCIS preferred
• ARRT(R) preferred
• Strong procedural nursing experience preferred

• Watchman procedures
• Loop recorders

Schedule & Call

• Day shifts: 4x10s (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) with possible late stays
• Weekend call: 2 days every 6 weeks (Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM)
