Qualifications:
- Active RN license (unencumbered)
- Previous experience in Electrophysiology Nursing (EP Lab)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical assessment and communication abilities
- Ability to adapt to new hospital environments and embrace changing priorities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in the EP Lab, monitoring patients during procedures such as ablations, device implants, and diagnostic electrophysiology studies
- Collaborate closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and optimal patient outcomes
- Operate specialized EP equipment efficiently and safely
- Document observations and interventions with accuracy and attention to detail
- Provide patient and family education regarding procedures and post-procedure care
