Key Experience and Skills:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, with eligibility for Illinois state licensure
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on skill with cardiac electrophysiology (EP) procedures
• Prior experience in EP Labs, including patient monitoring, assisting physicians, and managing specialized equipment
• Strong critical thinking, rapid response, and clear communication abilities
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Tech-savvy with EP-related documentation and equipment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, skilled nursing care for patients undergoing electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implants
• Prepare and educate patients pre-and post-procedure
• Maintain accurate patient records and coordinate with physicians and EP techs
• Ensure all safety standards and infection control procedures are upheld
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed
• Adapt swiftly to new EP lab protocols and hospital procedures
