Travel Registered Nurse - Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab in Des Plaines, IL

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Illinois or compact licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in EP Lab nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong knowledge of EP studies, ablations, device implementations, and pacemaker insertions
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients before, during, and after electrophysiology laboratory procedures
• Administer and titrate medications as ordered
• Assist physicians and EP staff with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Educate patients and families on procedures and post-procedural care
• Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate patient care in a fast-paced setting
