Registered Nurse - Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab | Hampton, Virginia

Bring your expertise in nursing to a specialized environment focused on Electrophysiology (EP) care. We are seeking a talented RN with experience in EP procedures or supporting an EP laboratory for an engaging contract role. This position provides an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality cardiac specialty care in an advanced clinical setting.

Schedule & Hours:

• Contract position
• Typically 40 hours per week

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Previous experience in Electrophysiology (EP) nursing and/or an EP Lab setting required
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Comfort working collaboratively with cardiologists and EP technologists

Responsibilities:

• Assist in all phases of EP procedures, including monitoring patient status and administering medications as directed
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field and specialized equipment needed for diagnostic and interventional EP studies
• Provide patient education on procedures and post-procedural care
• Document care provided and response accurately in patient records
• Respond promptly to emergencies and follow established cardiac care protocols

Benefits:
