Qualifications:
- Active RN license with eligibility to practice
- Minimum of 1 year experience in EP Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab preferred
- Proficient in assisting with EP studies, device implants, and ablations
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Comprehensive understanding of ECG interpretation and cardiac rhythms
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care during electrophysiology procedures, including device implantation, mapping, and ablation
- Monitor, assess, and document patient vitals and responses throughout procedures
- Anticipate and assist physicians with equipment and supply needs
- Educate patients and families on procedure details, post-operative expectations, and follow-up care
- Ensure strict adherence to aseptic technique and patient safety protocols
- Support the EP Lab team in preparing equipment and maintaining a sterile field
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions
