Deliver expert patient care in an advanced Electrophysiology (EP) environment as a Registered Nurse specializing in EP and EP Lab procedures. This contract position is perfect for highly skilled nurses ready to provide critical support in an innovative cardiac unit, collaborating closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:
- Valid and current RN license
- Proven experience as an RN in an Electrophysiology Lab setting
- Advanced knowledge of EP procedures, equipment, and terminology
- Demonstrated ability to monitor cardiac rhythms, administer moderate sedation, and assist with electrophysiology studies and therapeutic interventions
- Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Adaptable to fast-paced, dynamic clinical environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care before, during, and after EP procedures and device implantations
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, recognizing changes and responding promptly
- Assist physicians during electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device placements
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in accordance with regulatory standards
- Prepare rooms and sterile fields, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
- Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and ongoing cardiac care
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times
