Qualifications:

  • Current, valid RN license
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in Electrophysiology (EP) procedures and EP Lab settings
  • Proficiency in patient assessment, monitoring, and assisting during electrophysiology studies and interventions
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with physicians, technicians, and fellow nurses
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, procedure-driven environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to patients undergoing EP procedures, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs, reactions, and responses during procedures
  • Assist physicians with EP studies, device implants (pacemakers, ICDs), ablations, and other cardiac interventions
  • Prepare and manage necessary equipment and supplies for procedures, maintaining a sterile and safe environment
  • Deliver patient and family education about procedures, post-care instructions, and follow-up requirements
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure the highest standards of cardiac patient care
