Key Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted RN license
  • Previous recent experience in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cardiac rhythms, EP studies, and ablation procedures
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures including mapping, ablations, and device implantation
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, documenting accurate patient data
  • Provide pre- and post-procedural care and education to patients and families
  • Administer medications and manage IV therapies in a high-acuity setting
  • Maintain infection control standards and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
  • Collaborate with EP Lab technologists, physicians, and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care
