Key Qualifications:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of one year experience as an RN in an EP Lab or similar cardiac setting
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Proficiency with EP procedures, safe administration of conscious sedation, and critical care protocols
  • Strong assessment skills, with the ability to respond effectively to emergencies
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional EP procedures, including device implants and ablations
  • Monitor patient status during procedures, recognizing and managing complications
  • Administer medications and support anesthesia team as needed
  • Provide detailed patient education and post-procedure instructions
  • Document all care clearly and accurately in the medical record
  • Ensure proper maintenance and use of EP Lab equipment while adhering to safety standards
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and uphold best practices
