Registered Nurse - Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab - Norfolk, VA

Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Proven experience in Electrophysiology (EP) Lab or Cath Lab environments
• Proficiency assisting with specialized procedures such as device implantations, ablations, and cardiac catheterizations
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients closely throughout diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Prepare and maintain equipment and sterile fields in accordance with best practices
• Administer medications and provide timely, evidence-based care during procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document care delivered and changes in patient status with accuracy
• Assist in patient education, preparation, and post-procedure care
