Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Electrophysiology (EP) nursing
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication, diagnostic, and critical-thinking skills
- Proficiency with EP procedures, patient prep, monitoring, and recovery
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based patient care throughout the EP lab process, including pre- and post-procedure
- Monitor and assess vital signs during electrophysiology studies and ablations
- Collaborate with physicians and technical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and ongoing care needs
- Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Maintain strict infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality standards
