As a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in electrophysiology (EP), you’ll play a crucial role collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in a specialized procedural environment.
Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift
- Every other weekend required
- On-call rotation for EP side: Saturday and Sunday, 8:00am–4:30pm; one late night until 8pm weekly if needed
Qualifications:
- Current Illinois RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Electrophysiology Lab nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- Previous EP Lab experience is essential
- Not accepting candidates living within a 50-mile radius
- Ready to start as soon as possible
- Current RTO (requested time off) must be submitted with application
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert nursing care during electrophysiology procedures, including patient assessment, preparation, and monitoring
- Collaborate closely with EP physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal procedural outcomes
- Manage and monitor sedation and patient responses throughout procedures
- Respond to emergency situations efficiently, utilizing advanced critical thinking skills
- Participate in call rotation for both RNs and Techs as scheduled
- Document care according to facility protocols and regulatory standards
- Provide patient and family education regarding procedures and post-care expectations

$3,025 - $3,200/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
