Registered Nurse - Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab | Springfield, Illinois

Schedule:

• Day shift with every other weekend required
• Call rotation: Saturdays and Sundays, 8:00am-4:30pm (no overnight call)
• Occasional late night coverage up to 8:00pm, one evening per week if needed

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois RN license required upon application
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Electrophysiology or EP Lab nursing
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated EP experience (required)
• Ability to provide dates for requested time off at time of submission
• Not accepting candidates residing within a 50-mile radius

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physicians and EP team to deliver outstanding patient care during electrophysiology procedures
• Monitor and assess patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, providing education and support at every stage
• Administer medications and manage sedation as needed during procedures
• Respond effectively to emergencies and manage complex cardiac cases
• Accurately document patient status, interventions, and outcomes
• Participate in call rotation as scheduled, ensuring continuity of care during weekends and assigned evening coverage

$3,025 - $3,200/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
