Registered Nurse - Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab | Virginia Beach, Virginia

Schedule/Hours:

• 40 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with EP Lab nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Experience with electrophysiology procedures and cardiac monitoring equipment
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Comfort working both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Support physicians and cardiology teams in the EP Lab during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Administer patient care pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Monitor patients closely, identify complications, and respond swiftly in urgent situations
• Maintain sterile technique and proper handling of specialized EP equipment
• Document procedures, assessments, and changes in patient status accurately
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and cardiac arrhythmia care
