Registered Nurse - Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab | Virginia Beach, Virginia

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Electrophysiology (EP), Cath Lab, and EP Lab care to join a dynamic healthcare environment on a contract basis. Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Cath Lab, EP Lab, or similar cardiac specialty setting
• Advanced knowledge of cardiac procedures, electrophysiology studies, device implantation, and patient monitoring
• Excellent critical thinking, adaptability, and communication skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Skill in assisting with complex electrophysiology procedures and interventions preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Support physicians and technologists during invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols
• Administer medications, manage IV lines, and maintain accurate patient records
• Educate patients and families regarding procedure details and post-procedure care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
