Qualifications:

  • Current, unencumbered RN license in good standing
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in EP Lab or Cardiac/Electrophysiology setting
  • Proficient in monitoring and circulating for EP procedures
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Familiarity with EP lab equipment, mapping systems, and sterile technique
  • Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care during electrophysiology studies, ablation procedures, device implants, and other EP interventions
  • Monitor and assess the patient’s status throughout procedures, promptly responding to changes
  • Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and fellow nurses to ensure optimal patient safety and care
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including patient records and procedural logs
  • Operate and troubleshoot EP lab equipment according to protocols
  • Educate and support patients and families regarding procedures and aftercare instructions
  • Uphold infection prevention and patient safety standards consistently
