Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy EP department at a large academic medical center known for its patient-focused care, collaborative culture and commitment to clinical excellence.
The department completes approximately 15–20 cases per day and offers exposure to advanced EP procedures, innovative technology and a multidisciplinary team of physicians, fellows, nurses, technologists, vendors and anesthesia professionals.
Responsibilities:
Scrub and circulate during electrophysiology procedures
Assist with ablations, CRM device procedures and left atrial appendage occlusion
Provide moderate sedation and manage patient airways during nurse-led sedation
Administer and monitor Isuprel drips
Assist with cardioversions, pace/stimulate procedures and defibrillator threshold testing
Manage arterial and venous sheaths
Perform hemodynamic and advanced arrhythmia monitoring
Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety throughout procedures
Accurately document care and procedural details using Epic/Cupid
Collaborate with physicians, fellows and the EP team to provide excellent patient care
Requirements:
Minimum of two years of recent EP Lab experience
Active RN license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
EP scrubbing experience required
Experience with ablations, CRM devices and LAAO required
Laser lead extraction scrubbing experience preferred
Experience with CARTO, 3D mapping, cryoablation, sheath management and moderate sedation
Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation, critical-thinking and communication skills
First-time travelers may be considered based on depth of EP Lab experience
Assignment Details:
Competitive weekly pay package
Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday–Friday
Variable daytime hours between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Approximately 3–5 late days per month
Candidates should be open to an occasional Saturday rotation
No regular call, with limited holiday coverage as needed
No floating
