Joining this renowned, high-acuity emergency department exposes you to a diverse mix of cases—strokes, cardiovascular issues, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health, sepsis, and occasional trauma. Schedule/Hours:
- Nights, 7PM – 7AM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call or floating required
- Full time
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of employment or compact
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA (required)
- TNCC certification (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant ER nursing experience preferred
- Participation in orientation/preceptor program required for new hires
- Must complete all annual competency verifications
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care using the nursing process for varied, high-acuity cases
- Independently address acute and complex patient needs, including psychological and social aspects
- Administer medications, treatments, and monitor for efficacy and side effects
- Lead and delegate tasks to care team members
- Educate patients and families
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation
