Clinic (RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Alpharetta, Georgia

Experience the fast-paced and rewarding environment of a specialized Emergency Department and Urgent Care holding unit. This contract position focuses on providing expert patient care within an ACC holding setting, blending acute assessment skills with compassionate support.

Schedule:

• 36 hours per week

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Emergency Room nursing or clinical RN roles
• Strong knowledge of emergency/urgent care protocols and clinical best practices
• Ability to triage quickly and respond confidently to dynamic patient needs
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and communication with multidisciplinary teams
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients within the ACC holding unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Assist with triage, assessment, and ongoing monitoring of patients awaiting inpatient placement or further evaluation
• Collaborate closely with emergency physicians and clinical teams to coordinate patient care and treatment plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the health record
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed, following facility procedures
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment, and discharge instructions
• Uphold high standards of infection prevention and compliance with regulatory guidelines

$1,475 - $1,614/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
