An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Emergency Services nursing leader to support emergency department operations on a contract basis. The ideal candidate is well-versed in clinical ER care and has proven management expertise.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 40 hours per week, guaranteed
Qualifications:
- Active California RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Five or more years of experience in an emergency room (ER) setting
- Minimum of two years in an ER management or supervisory role
- Recent (within 12 months) TB clearance
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the emergency department, ensuring high standards for patient care and safety
- Lead, mentor, and support clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Manage departmental resources, schedules, and workflows to optimize performance and patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and hospital regulations and policies
- Facilitate communication between medical staff, patients, and families for optimal service delivery
- Identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices within the department

$3,025 - $3,200/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
