Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Arden, NC

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment in an esteemed emergency department, serving both adults and pediatric patients at one of the nation’s most recognized hospitals. Schedule:

• 3 night shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Must be open to flexible scheduling in order to meet department needs

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC certifications (all required before start)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Level II trauma or comprehensive stroke center with annual ED volumes >100,000 visits
• At least 1 year of recent RN-ER experience (adult and/or pediatric ER backgrounds both valuable)
• Strong teamwork mindset and ability to coach, provide feedback, and adapt across all ED sections
• Familiarity with Cerner documentation preferred
• Commitment to consistent, respectful patient communication and experience

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based emergency nursing care to a diverse, multicultural patient population
• Function across all zones within the emergency department, including the pediatric ER
• Collaborate with techs, unit clerks, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure positive patient outcomes
• Uphold high standards for patient safety, timely updates, and empathetic care through AIDET practices
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
