Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Atlanta, GA

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage and assess incoming patients to prioritize care efficiently
• Deliver direct care in high-pressure emergency room settings
• Administer medications and treatments according to facility guidelines and physician orders
• Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and support staff to implement individualized care plans
• Monitor patient progress and respond rapidly to changes in condition
• Document patient histories, interventions, and outcomes promptly and accurately
• Educate patients and families about decisions, procedures, and aftercare instructions
• Adhere to infection control protocols and ER safety standards at all times

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications such as PALS or TNCC preferred)
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
• Exceptional communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
