Advance your nursing career as a vital member of a collaborative emergency department care team. You’ll provide compassionate, evidence-based care in a dynamic clinical setting, ensuring patients and their families receive individualized, high-quality service. Supported by strong practice models and interdisciplinary leadership, you'll play a key role in improving patient outcomes and upholding the highest standards of professional nursing.
Schedule/Hours:
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Variable days, with a requirement to work every other weekend
- On-call duties: two 24-hour calls every eight weeks
- Holiday coverage: at least two major and two minor holidays annually
Qualifications:
- Current RN license (Single State or Compact)
- BLS certification required; must obtain PALS and ACLS within 180 days if not already held
- TNCC/ATCN certification or provisional required within 18 months
- Associates or diploma in Nursing required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Less than one year of direct patient care experience preferred
- Strong skills in English communication, technology use, collaboration, customer service, time management, and critical thinking
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using evidence-based practices
- Foster relationships with patients and families, adapting care to diverse populations and communicating using best-in-class standards
- Accurately document care and support interdisciplinary communication and teamwork
- Mentor and precept new nurses, supporting a culture of ongoing professional development
- Engage in continuous process improvement, data collection, and performance initiatives to elevate safety and quality
- Develop and refine practice protocols to ensure efficient, effective, and safe patient care delivery
- Adhere to all organizational policies, codes, and regulatory requirements
