Travel RN Emergency Room | Augusta, Georgia

Schedule:

• Night shift: 7:00pm – 7:00am
• On-call: Two 24-hour calls during each 8-week assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered emergency care using the full nursing process.
• Collaborate closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
• Utilize strong critical thinking and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Complete documentation with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
• Mentor and support fellow nurses, contributing to both daily practice and long-term unit improvement.
• Participate in ongoing education, performance improvement initiatives, and shared governance activities.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact)
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire
• PALS and TNCC (or equivalent) must be obtained within prescribed timelines
• Emergency department experience and direct patient care preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
