(RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Aurora, Colorado

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract role with variable shifts depending on operational needs

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Proficiency in emergency care protocols and procedures
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
• Strong critical thinking and triage assessment skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to remain calm and composed under stress

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Conduct rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization of critical patients
• Administer medications, treatments, and perform interventions following established protocols and physician orders
• Collaborate efficiently with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Document patient status, interventions, and care in electronic medical records accurately and promptly
• Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care
• Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control standards
