Travel ER RN - Aztec, New Mexico

Make a difference in emergency care by utilizing your expertise as a Registered Nurse in a high-acuity Emergency Room environment. This contract position requires a skilled RN ready to provide immediate, compassionate care to patients in critical conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year of experience in an ER or comparable acute care setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC preferred)
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced or high-stress situations

Schedule/Hours:

• Typical 12-hour shifts; day, night, and weekend shifts may be required
• Flexibility to accommodate variable scheduling needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage, assess, and provide direct care to patients presenting with diverse, urgent conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions per facility protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and team members on effective, efficient treatment plans
• Document promptly and accurately within the electronic medical record system
• Educate patients and families on treatments, procedures, and follow-up care requirements
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to facility and regulatory compliance standards at all times
