This contract opportunity is designed for Registered Nurses with proven experience in the Emergency Department. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients in urgent and diverse situations, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and utilizing your strong critical thinking skills daily.
Schedule/Hours:
- Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
- Four weeks of night shifts followed by four weeks of day shifts (or the reverse if rotating)
- Contract start dates available on 4/6 or 4/20
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- At least one year of recent Emergency Department RN experience is preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
- Strong assessment, triage, and multi-tasking capabilities
- Ability to manage high-stress situations with professionalism and composure
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting
- Administer medications and perform interventions according to best practices
- Communicate effectively with physicians, team members, patients, and families
- Maintain thorough, timely, and accurate clinical documentation
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality standards
