Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shifts
  • Every other weekend (36 hours per week)

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years’ recent Emergency Nursing experience
  • Proficient in general ED skills, including assessment, documentation, IV placement, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, and patient education
  • Excellent critical thinking and adaptability
  • AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; NRP and TNCC strongly preferred
  • Experience with diverse patient populations is highly valuable

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to a range of patients in a high-volume ED (1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio; approximately 230 visits/day)
  • Float to other pods/areas as needed
  • Utilize EPIC ASAP for charting and documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain composure and clinical expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
