Travel (RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Bristol, Connecticut

Schedule/Hours

• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• 1+ year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency in managing both ED and inpatient hold patient ratios and acuity
• Strong assessment and clinical skills in high-pressure situations
• BLS and ACLS certification required; TNCC and PALS preferred
• Effective communicator with adaptable teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care efficiently in both ED and inpatient hold settings
• Assess and prioritize patients based on acuity levels
• Collaborate proactively with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
• Document all care activities according to hospital policies and regulations
• Respond swiftly to rapidly changing situations and emergencies
• Educate patients and families with empathy and clear communication
