Highly skilled registered nurses with ER experience are needed for a contract role supporting patient care in a dynamic emergency room setting. This position requires clinical expertise in emergency nursing and adaptability to varied patient acuity levels.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shifts available: 6:00am–2:30pm or 7:00am–3:30pm
  • Call rotation includes:
    • One weekday (3:30pm–7:00pm)
    • One weekend every fourth week (7:00am–7:00pm)

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license and established experience in an ER setting
  • NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification required
  • Strong assessment, decision-making, and triage abilities
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills in high-pressure scenarios
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care in the emergency department and respond swiftly to acute situations
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective treatment
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and maintain accurate, timely documentation
  • Provide patient and family education regarding care and post-discharge instructions
  • Support the unit’s goals and uphold best practices in emergency nursing
