Seeking a Registered Nurse experienced in Emergency Room care to provide high-quality, compassionate service within a hospital environment. This contract role requires adaptability and clinical expertise to respond effectively to a variety of patient needs in a dynamic ER setting.
Schedule:
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- Four-week rotations: Nights followed by days (or vice versa), with possible start dates of 4/6 or 4/20
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Recent experience in an Emergency Room setting
- Proficiency in clinical ER skills, rapid assessment, and trauma response
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications such as PALS or TNCC are preferred)
- Excellent patient communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Key Duties:
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Perform triage, assessment, and stabilization of patients in urgent and emergent situations
- Monitor and record vital signs, administer medications, and manage IV lines
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans
- Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge instructions
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
