Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour shifts: 7A-7P or 7P-7A
- Weekend rotation: 5-6 shifts in a 6-week cycle
- Holiday coverage required (one major holiday per set)
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- RN with minimum 2 years' recent ED experience
- Accepts first-time travelers eager to learn
- Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications
- Must pass EKG competency exam
- Strong proficiency in handling trauma and drips (Heparin, Insulin, Epinephrine, Fentanyl, Levophed, etc.)
- National certification in Emergency Nursing (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care to diverse ED patients (chest pain, trauma, diabetes, mental health, multi-system emergencies)
- Collaborate with physician, tech, and nurse-led support teams
- Operate sophisticated monitoring and dispensing equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
