You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including 24/7 access to respiratory therapists, hospitalists, intensivists, technical support, and phlebotomy—while utilizing cutting-edge technology and industry-leading EMR systems like EPIC. Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour shifts: 7A-7P or 7P-7A
  • Weekend rotation: 5-6 shifts in a 6-week cycle
  • Holiday coverage required (one major holiday per set)

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • RN with minimum 2 years' recent ED experience
  • Accepts first-time travelers eager to learn
  • Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications
  • Must pass EKG competency exam
  • Strong proficiency in handling trauma and drips (Heparin, Insulin, Epinephrine, Fentanyl, Levophed, etc.)
  • National certification in Emergency Nursing (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care to diverse ED patients (chest pain, trauma, diabetes, mental health, multi-system emergencies)
  • Collaborate with physician, tech, and nurse-led support teams
  • Operate sophisticated monitoring and dispensing equipment
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
