Advance your nursing career in a dynamic emergency department setting, providing exceptional care to patients in a fast-paced environment. This contract role requires a Registered Nurse with Emergency Room experience who thrives in challenging situations and delivers compassionate, evidence-based care.

Schedule:

  • Rotating four weeks of nights followed by four weeks of days (or vice versa, depending on rotation)
  • Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH)
  • Start dates available: April 6 or April 20

Qualifications:

  • Current, active RN license
  • Recent experience working in an Emergency Room environment
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • TNCC or other advanced trauma training preferred
  • Strong multi-tasking and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and patient needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage and assess patients arriving in the emergency department
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following established protocols
  • Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and responses to care
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff for optimal patient outcomes
  • Support trauma and code response within scope of practice
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, care plans, and discharge instructions
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records
