Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Cambridge, Massachusetts

Take part in a dynamic emergency department setting, providing critical care as a Registered Nurse for a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This contract opportunity requires experienced RNs with a background in Emergency Room settings, capable of adapting quickly and delivering top-notch nursing care under pressure. Schedule/Hours:

• 36 hours per week
• Day/Night rotating shifts
• Every other weekend, every other holiday required

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year recent travel nursing experience in an ER setting
• Proven ability to excel in busy, non-traditional care environments
• Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in both traditional bays and in non-traditional settings, such as hallways
• Move efficiently between patient care areas to obtain medications, supplies, and equipment as needed
• Collaborate closely with physicians, additional nursing staff, and support teams to manage acute cases efficiently
• Maintain poise under pressure, managing multiple tasks amid frequent interruptions and rapid patient turnover
• Ensure accurate documentation and uphold exceptional standards for patient safety and care quality

$2,057 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
