Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Canonsburg, PA

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert nursing care and triage for patients presenting to the emergency department
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments in accordance with protocols and regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess patient needs and coordinate care
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in medical records
• Respond quickly to emergencies, following established procedures for critical care situations
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients and team members

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• Previous experience in an emergency room (ER) nursing role required
• BLS/CPR certification; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to thrive under pressure and prioritize in a rapidly changing setting
