Deliver high-quality emergency care as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, working on a contract assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role demands clinical expertise, composure in fast-paced situations, and a strong commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and triage in the emergency department
- Deliver prompt, evidence-based nursing interventions for a diverse patient population
- Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient responses
- Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal care
- Document all interventions, observations, and changes in patient condition accurately
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, procedures, and care plans
- Participate in rapid response and resuscitation efforts as needed
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year recent experience in an emergency department
- Advanced clinical skills in managing acute and critical care scenarios
- BLS and ACLS certification required (PALS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a high-pressure environment
- Proficiency with electronic health records systems
