Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Carthage, NY

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current, active RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in the ER, addressing a wide spectrum of urgent and emergent health conditions
• Triage, monitor, and manage changes in patient status
• Effectively implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform necessary procedures
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold safety protocols at all times
